This is a very effective way to protect yourself from wild animals whilst out in the bush. The whole kit comes in a handy carrier bag and is very easy to erect as a perimeter fence of up to 40 metres at whichever camp site you are staying in. This includes an energiser, fence pegs and poly wire. Generally the fence would be energised using your vehicle battery (using very marginal current thus it won’t deplete your battery quickly) but there is the option to add a solar panel and battery should you need them.
